SJ win Elisa Viihde League; qualify for DreamHack Open Winter

SJ won a three-map series against hREDS to top the Elisa Viihde League and earn a ticket to DreamHack Winter 2019.
hREDS and SJ faced-off in the Eliisa Viihde League grand final, which awarded the winner a spot at DreamHack Winter 2019. SJ did so integrally through the upper bracket with victories over hREDS and KOVA, while REDS had to fight their way through the lower bracket with wins over Conquer and KOVA.
hREDS won the first map of the series, Dust2, their map pick, without too much trouble despite having lost it in a previous series. Juho "juho" Lampinen and company went up 7-0 on the attacking side before SJ could reply, eventually going on to end the half with a 12-3 partial. Despite SJ winning the six first rounds of the second half, it wouldn’t be enough as hREDS closed the map out 16-9.

SJ were equally dominant on the attacking side of their map pick, Inferno, taking an 11-4 lead at the half, a map they had already won against hREDS in the upper-bracket final. Just like on Dust2, the trailing team got a few rounds early on in the second half, but it was SJ that imposed their will to take it to the decider, 16-8.
hREDS won the pistol round on the attack and took a quick 3-0 on the last map of the series, Nuke, but it was SJ who were quick to lay the law as Counter-Terrorists once they were able to get their hands on proper weaponry, winning every round of the half for a 12-3 lead.
SJ won the first three rounds of the second half to get on match point and Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen was close to bringing it to an end with a 1vs3 clutch, but Eetu "eDi" Astikainen kept the match going winning the final 1vs1 and defusing the bomb. Finally, however, SJ were able to wrap it up, 16-6, to win the series.
